《幻兽帕鲁》在发售时获得了极高的人气，根据SteamDB数据显示，本作的Steam历史在线人数峰值高达210万人，是该平台历史在线人数第三多的游戏，仅次于《绝地求生》（325万）和《黑神话：悟空》（240万）。

不过由于上一次大型更新“樱岛”已是6月底的事了，目前本作的在线人数维持在4万到5万人之间。近日，《幻兽帕鲁》社区经理Bucky在推特上发文自嘲，表示《帕鲁》已经是“Dead game”了。

值得一提的是，在TGA2024颁奖典礼上，《幻兽帕鲁》发布了最新宣传片，大型更新“Feybreak”将于12月23日正式上线。据称，新版本将推出《幻兽帕鲁》世界中最大、最严酷、最神秘的新岛屿，面积约为上次大型更新中“樱岛”的六倍！！！
